Letter of support

Good morning Mr Curteis, from Great Malvern, Worcestershire.

First of all, please let me thank you for being bold enough to be applying for the very challenging post for West Mercia Police & Crime Commissioner, also please be aware that both my wife and I have already voted for you for the upcoming election on the 2nd. of May.

We sincerely hope and pray that you will be our new Commissioner, never in the history of the police force have they gotten themselves into such a complete and utter mess.

To me at least, the trouble comes from the very top of the force, the saying "the fish rots from the head" cannot be more apt than it is now, this "wokery" started at the top and is permeating down to the lower ranks, it has very much become politicised, whereas it has until recently always been seen to be impartial.......

May I humbly suggest that you try and set up a meeting with Salviini and see how their police force is run, I know that their police do carry guns, however one of the things that they also do is, not always, is have an armed solder along with them, maybe just in the big cities. One thing that their police force do not do is to try and be too friendly with the public, they do however command full respect from everyone, they will not give the knee to anyone, neither will they do silly dances in the street either, it's not their job.

I do not think it is the job of the police to "give the knee" especially as Floyd George wasn't even English, secondly, the man was a criminal, what in Gods name were the police thinking to give the knee to such an unsavoury character, I wonder how many people, apart from me, ever bothered to watch Floyd Georges full arrest and not just the last 10 seconds, it was really quite nauseating and had he allowed himself to be arrested on that fateful day, he would, in all likelihood be a free man again and able to carry on his life of crime.

I would like to say one more thing on this matter, the police will never gain the respect they think they deserve from the criminal element of society, what the police risk doing is alienating the law-abiding peoples of society, as well.

The police need to get back to being impartial and not taking sides with one side or the other, my heart goes out to the likes of Mr Tommy Robinson, who only ever started his quest he is on because in his town of Luton there are now over 30 mosques, I would say that is just a little over the top, I take my hat off to the very rare people like him who will stand up for this country and it's people, clearly our government do not.

That's all I have to say, and we wish you all success on the 2nd. of May, here's hoping that common sense will at last prevail.
