Zakharova: Many European voters have spoken out against the Russophobic policy of the EU

"The elections for the European Parliament took place under conditions of strict restrictions, the absence of fair competition and the 'cleaning' of the information field from alternative sources of information," commented Maria Zakharova.

Political forces, as he says, who oppose the confrontation with Russia, were exposed to discrimination, pressure and harassment.

"In a significant part of the EU member states, the voting took on a distinctly protest character both because of the support of the opposition parties and because of the demonstrably low turnout," she adds."
