Robin Tilbrook handles the critics and positions the monarchy in the current circumstances. Andrew has yet to be charged with anything, and has yet to be convicted of anything.
Why the publicity stunt by the Police? Arrested on his 66th birthday.
He provides a distraction for the Labour government.
Mandelson is far more guilty of disclosure of secrets than Andrew yet Andrew is the main news story allowing Mandelson's case to be made less of. Mandelson had far more involvement with Epstein than Andrew, and was close to Starmer.
Politicians are influencing actions of Police. Robin gives key example. 30 months for a deleted tweet, with Starmer personally seeking a custodial sentence.
Starmer is proposing to change the line of succession when Andrew has yet to be charged. Removing Mandelson from the Lords requires an Act of Parliament, and yet he too has yet to be charged.
Police tend not to prosecute without a confession. If Andrew says nothing under interview, he may well not be prosecuted, as the case against him is somewhat weaker than the case against Mandelson.
The media were given notice by the Police that they were going to arrest Andrew. It was set upto be a massive spectacle.
There is clear evidence against rich and powerful American men of sexual offences. Yet nothing has been done, with the US Attorney General refusing to see the evidence that is apparent. Neither the US or UK states are that keen on prosecuting.
The Royal Crisis is being used by Starmer as a distraction, talking of removing Andrew from the line of succession, when there is not yet even a case.
What about Clinton who was heavily involved with Epstein? and the very rich and powerful Americans who have shown themselves utterly morally corrupt.
Robin holds the line against a trial by media approving opponent - former LSE and BBC, John Mair.
The legacy media is running the narrative that Epstein was working for the Russians. Yet Epstein mainly worked with Mossad.
Andrew had an agreement with The Queen to stay at The Royal Lodge. Charles got an agreement with Andrew to move to Sandringham in Norfolk.
The Protagonists: A Royal Crisis?
Following Andrew Mountbatten's arrest on February 19, 2026, on suspicion of misconduct, King Charles stated the "law must take its course," signalling that he will not use his royal authority to protect his brother from criminal investigation. King Charles has said he is ready to help police investigations into his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, if asked, after they said they were assessing information about his financial links to Jeffrey Epstein.
The position of Mountbatten-Windsor, former prince, and 8th in the line of succession to the British throne is under threat in the United Kingdom. While it would be extremely unlikely he would ever become monarch, his removal would be a symbolic and significant act of repudiation. Baring a time-consuming process involving many parliaments passing legislation, is this a huge distraction from the current publicity engulfing the Government and the monarchy? Or do they know there is more to come.
