Teds must switch to positive messaging

You can phrase the same policies negatively and positively.

Saying 'this is wrong' is correct and true in many cases, as with immigration. You can say slavery is wrong, and be perfectly correct, or use the phrase 'all men are created equal' which has more appeal and is more powerful.

Fashion changes in peoples' willingness to absorb negative messaging, and I see a change now.

People are overwhelmed by negative events and messaging and want only positive phrasing as of right now.

The good times are not rolling, and people just blank more and more negativity to maintain their mental state.

Don't say excessive immigration is bad. Or that War is evil.

The statements are perfectly correct in both cases, but politically they win less support than you would think, as they are negatively focused. Don't say Immigration and Dictators are threatening us, and stand back waiting for the tribe to gather. Instead say The Teds Stand For Peace and Stability, and you will find an audience, as such things which were once assumed to be obvious, are no longer so, and cannot be taken for granted.

Immediately you will have an audience - if you have a good hook to get them looking - especially with the crucial and harder to persuade female audience.

Males will follow a negative message very easily - as in Putin is bad. OR our shores are being invaded. Men are tribal. Women are less so. They need more positive messaging for the most part. And they are in many cases repelled by a tribal approach. If you can win the hearts of women, it is easy to bring the men on board to join a growing tribe.

By not building fear, but permitting optimism by demanding that higher standards be set, the female voter will listen.

It's time to moderate the negative messaging that the English Democrats used successfully twenty years ago, and go positive. Maybe add the word Justice at some point, to Peace and Stability.

First Peace.

Second Stability.

Third Justice.
