Just cut out the blather. What terms will Russia make peace on? They have made these clear right from day one, yet the West is not listening, preferring to live on in a fantasy of some other outcome. To save lives and possibly what's left of western so-called 'civilization', the UK, the primary advocate of lengthening the war, must start negotiations based on Russian peace proposals.
The Teds passed a National Council resolution in 2022 advocating negotiating with Russia based on Russia's declared position. We are the only party to do this and have held this position ever since. Peace can be found here, and nowhere else.
Russia's negotiating position is as follows -
That Moscow holds on to the four most eastern oblasts of Ukraine – Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson. Importantly, the Kremlin already controls and administrates the vast majority of these territories. The Russian delegation at Istanbul on May 16 threatened also to subsume the Sumy and Kharkov oblasts. That Ukraine does not become a member state of Nato or the EU. The Russians cite the potential expansion of these alliances into Ukraine as the original casus belli. Moreover, Putin is demanding the broader rollback of Nato presence in Eastern Europe, to create a territorial buffer on the Russian western flank. That foreign military aid to Ukraine should end, including the provision of arms, the sharing of intelligence, and the training of troops. That the sanctions imposed on the Russian economy in 2022 be lifted. That Russian be accepted as one of Ukraine’s official languages. The language rights and political freedoms of ethnic Russians in the east of Ukraine are an integral strand of the conflict’s origins.

The strategic picture is not clear as yet with Russian Anti Air Attack capabilities needing urgent attention. NATO is focusing on piercing Moscow's air defences. On the ground Russia is gaining all the time, and Ukrainian reserves are reducing in number as Russia's land army depolyed to Ukraine is increasing.
NATO wants to test out Russia'a air defence capability. It will escalate the war to another level is they do this, and many more places will be destroyed on both sides, with attacks on the UK not beyond the realm of possibility. The economic effects will be catastrophic.
Although the Russian AA has improved, it's nowhere where it should be. There needs to be a total WWII era recall with an acoustic and a visual detection along the critical paths. The radars are clearly not enough against the slow low-flying craft. The critical factories need to be dispersed, not concentrated. It's all going the bad way. It will be a huge carnage in the coming war for the RF. "Satellite imagery of the "Patriot Park" complex in Moscow Oblast has been released, following the Ukrainian UAV attacks on May 22. Two impacts are visible: One to Pavillion C and another to the nearby courtyard." (AMK Mapping)
