I can confirm that elections are sickeningly and blatantly rigged. I stood as Police Commissioner in West Mercia. The PARO (Police Area Returning Officer) was not embarrassed to openly hero worship the incumbent at the briefing of all the candidates and their agents. I was only allowed onto the ballot as the English Democrats candidate once they knew we had booked a postal campaign costing £25,000. How would it look when a million people received a leaflet when the candidate was not even on the ballot? There were endless shenanigans to block me, and it took the above to get past them only at the last minute, too late to get my message out in time for postal voting. Even then, the incumbent was clearly rattled by the postal vote when I spoke against him at the various hustings and on the BBC. I enjoyed the debating enormously. He hadn’t got a leg to stand on. He was very matey with all the other candidates who represented no threat to him. But frosty and silent to me.
At the one count which I was able to attend, Telford, my pile of votes was nearly level with his. As Telford was my least favourable vote out of the seven counts, I felt I had a good chance overall at that moment. The result at Telford, however gave me 3,000 to his 9,000 placing me last despite our piles being close in table after table (50 tables in all). I was around double the Lib Dem who was double Green on all the tables. The Shropshire Star reporter asked me how I had managed to land such a big vote as an unkown person standing for a previously unknown party. When the final result came, though, we were placed last below all the parties we had clearly defeated by a wide margin.
We have a mountain to climb to get anyone into any office. I got back my £5,000 deposit, but had no proper result from £25,000 of leafleting, and the voters were cheated. Many leaflets were delivered after the election by the Post Office. Some never made it. The appeal of the English Democrats worries the uniparty, who want Sabotage Farage to win – who will sign us into whatever when he gets there (if he does), and resign the leadership in favour of Britain’s first Moslem Prime Minister.
