Political unions — whether it was the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, or now the European Union — all share one disturbing trait:
👉 They want to dictate what you say, what you do, what you believe, and even what information you’re allowed to see.
I compare the old USSR model of control to what we see happening right here at home, where entire countries are locked inside statutory unions run by unaccountable bureaucracies. England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland — all trapped under a British state that increasingly wants control over speech, movement, earnings, rights, and even history.
And now? We’re watching the EU fine X/Twitter €120 million simply because Elon Musk refuses to bow to their demands for total control of information under their so-called “Digital Services Act.”
This isn’t about checkmarks. This isn’t about transparency. It’s about power — who has it, and who they’re terrified of losing it to.
Platforms like X and Rumble are among the last places where ordinary people can speak freely without being filtered, labelled, censored or silenced.
Self-determination. Sovereignty. The rights of free people. That’s what this entire discussion is about.
