Something HUGE Just HAPPENED in the UK as MILLIONS REJECT Islam!! Andy The Gabby Cabby
29,713 views Jul 18, 2026 An Oxfordshire village has staged an extraordinary protest vote for “independence from the UK” after residents learned that up to 1,250 adult male asylum seekers could be housed at a nearby military site.
Residents say the proposed accommodation would be placed beside their small community, close to playing fields and a children’s playground — despite the village reportedly having few local facilities and no permanent police presence.
In a symbolic referendum, an overwhelming 96% reportedly voted in favour of independence.
In this video, I examine:
🚨 The proposed asylum accommodation near the village 🗳️ Why residents organised an independence referendum ❓ The alleged lack of meaningful consultation 👨 Why the site is reportedly intended for adult men only 🏘️ The potential impact on a tiny rural community ⚖️ Whether central government has become too powerful 🏴 How England was historically governed through counties and shires
Residents insist their concerns are about scale, infrastructure, public safety and the absence of proper answers — not simply the existence of asylum seekers.
The village has only a few hundred residents, while the proposed site could accommodate more than one thousand men with access to the surrounding area.
Locals say they have no shops, no pub, limited services and no obvious way of coping with such a dramatic increase in the local population.
The referendum may be symbolic, but its message could not be clearer:
People are tired of decisions being imposed on their communities by distant politicians who will never personally experience the consequences.
Could this be the beginning of wider resistance from England’s villages, counties and shires?
Watch the full video and let me know what you think.
Should local communities have the power to reject major government schemes that could permanently transform their area?
