The US cannot admit defeat, even when they are being defeated. The narrative of US victory everywhere has to be maintained. As with Vietnam, it took years before defeat was admitted.

Right now the war delusion is in control.
Only the people can stop it.
The only political party in the UK to have a policy to negotiate peace with Russia (and thereby Iran and China) is The English Democrats.
The party is also against conscription for any war.
