Re: Petition: Referendum on English Independence

I have attached the current Petition for English Independence which our membership secretary, Bridget Vickers, has sent me. It is at 1,200 signatures so I am hopeful that we can get it up much further than this!

The petition says:- “We call for a referendum on full English independence from the UK due to what we believe is the enormous financial burden which the nations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland place on tax-payers in England.”

Here is a link to the petition >>> https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/769555

We need at least 10,000 signatures to trigger an official answer from Whitehall.

Yours sincerely,

Cllr Robin Tilbrook
